Job description

Reporting to the supervisor, the Receiving & Logistics Clerk will be responsible for managing the receipt of raw materials and all other goods, as well as supplying the factories.

He will be responsible for implementing effective methods to ensure proper inventory management. He is comfortable working in a computer-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, check, and inspect incoming orders against purchase orders; note any missing items and set aside any damaged items; and follow up with the supplier regarding replacements;
  • Unpack the items and distribute them to the appropriate storage locations;
  • Monitor returns and maintain an optimal inventory tracking and rotation system.
  • Actively contribute to inventory management by closely tracking incoming and outgoing items.
  • Coordinate customer part orders and ensure that statuses are updated in the system.
  • Operate a forklift
  • Supply the production lines with the necessary materials
  • Assist with various production support tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications required

  • AEC degree in a relevant field or any combination of relevant experience in the field;
  • Years of relevant work experience: 3 years of experience in a related field;
  • Excellent observation skills and good judgment;
  • Be self-reliant and have good organizational skills;
  • Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail;
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work in an environment focused on increasing productivity;
  • Excellent learning skills;
  • Excellent sense of rigor and professionalism;
