Our history
Founded in 1987, Fene-Tech is a leader in Quebec's window and door industry. Renowned for the quality of its products, Fene-Tech can count on a committed and autonomous team. The stability and commitment of our employees are a major factor in the company's success throughout the Matapédia region. Our mission is to offer you the best products for a lasting investment.
Lapco-Tech is also a company with its roots in the window and door industry. Founded in 1994, Lapco-Tech has always taken a transparent approach to demonstrating its expertise. Experienced and meticulous, our employees know how to take advantage of state-of-the-art production equipment and raw materials of incomparable quality. To underscore their growth, in 2020 the company moved its facilities from Mirabel to Saint-Eustache in order to surpass its customers' needs.
In 2011 ATLANTEM CANADA acquired Lapco-Tech and Fene-Tech, resulting in the merger of the two Quebec companies. In 2023, the two companies join forces and become Fene-Tech, an entity in its own right.
Sustainable development in our company
For Fene-Tech, ecology is very important. The production of windows and doors involves a certain amount of material waste. To minimize these losses, we recycle PVC and aluminum, among other materials. Aluminum can be recycled indefinitely. Recycling these materials considerably improves our ecological footprint.
To minimize waste even further, we're looking to introduce glass recycling. For example, glass can be recycled and turned into sand for golf clubs!
