Job description

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company’s internal and external communications and marketing strategies. He or she develops content, coordinates promotional campaigns, manages the company’s digital presence, and helps build the employer brand. He or she analyzes performance and optimizes initiatives to support growth, brand awareness, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

1. Internal Communication

  • Develop and implement an internal communication strategy to foster engagement, team cohesion, and the flow of information.
  • Design, write, and distribute internal content (newsletters, posters, corporate communications, internal announcements).
  • Manage the internal television platform and ensure that content is updated regularly.
  • Work with various departments to meet internal communication needs and support teams in their projects.

2. Employer Branding

  • Develop and implement communication initiatives aimed at strengthening the employer brand and enhancing the company’s appeal.
  • Create content focused on recruitment, promoting the company culture, and the employee experience.
  • Help design recruitment campaigns and HR outreach initiatives (events, partnerships, promotional materials).
  • Ensure consistency in the employer brand across all communication channels.

3. External Communications – Customer Relations & Marketing

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement external communication and marketing strategies.
  • Design and launch promotional campaigns for customers.
  • Write, produce, and coordinate customer-facing communication materials (brochures, product documentation, presentations, sales tools).
  • Analyze the performance of marketing initiatives and recommend improvements.

4. Web, Digital Platforms, and Content Creation

  • Ensure that the company's website is updated, optimized, and managed.
  • Manage social media (content calendar, content creation, community engagement, moderation, performance analysis).
  • Design and produce visual and written content (brochures, corporate materials, product documentation, promotional materials).
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms and communication channels.

Conditions

  • Primary workplace: 500 Guindon Street, Suite 107, Saint-Eustache, Quebec J7R 5B4
  • Secondary office location: 264 Boulevard Saint-Benoît East, Amqui, Quebec, G5J 2C5
  • Permanent, full-time position (32 hours per week)
  • Working language: French

Qualifications

  • A three-year technical college diploma (DEC) in communications, marketing, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field;
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in communications and marketing;
  • Experience in a manufacturing or B2B industrial environment, or knowledge of doors and windows;
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
  • Proficiency in English is required to handle external communications with English-speaking clients;
  • Proficiency in digital and communication tools, including web content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a meticulous approach;
  • Independence, initiative, and the ability to manage priorities;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.

Strengths

  • Skills in graphic design, video editing, or motion design;
  • Familiarity with digital performance analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, CRM tools, etc.);
  • Experience in digital content creation and marketing campaign management;
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing or construction industry.
