Job description
Fene-Tech is looking for a programmer-analyst to support its manufacturing operations by designing, developing, and optimizing application solutions tailored to the company’s needs. The person in this role plays a key part in improving business processes and leveraging data.
Responsibilities
Analysis and Design
- Work with users to understand business needs and operational challenges.
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Design application solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Produce and maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, data flows, and procedures.
- Participate in the evaluation of new technologies and recommend value-added solutions.
Development and Integration
- Develop and maintain internal business applications, web solutions, automation tools, and analytics platforms (Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform).
- Automate processes using tools (Power Automate, scripts, etc.)
- Integrate systems (ERP, Microsoft 365 tools, databases, and BI)
Data and Business Intelligence
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operations and decision-making.
- Analyze business needs and transform data from multiple sources (ERP, production, inventory, quality, Microsoft 365, etc.) into actionable insights
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and integration processes to ensure the performance and reliability of analytical solutions.
- Ensure the quality, integrity, governance, and availability of organizational data.
- Help develop modern analytical solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and business intelligence technologies from the Microsoft ecosystem.
Support and Continuous Improvement
- Provide advanced technical support for the solutions developed and the tools under his or her responsibility.
- Help analyze and resolve complex incidents.
- Support users as they adopt new solutions.
- Train and support key users.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary projects.
Conditions
- Department: Information Technology;
- Immediate supervisor: IT Manager;
- Permanent position, 40 hours per week;
- The position is based in Amqui. Occasional travel is required;

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent education
- 3 years or more of relevant experience
- Excellent proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Power BI, VBScript, or equivalent technologies).
- A strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into concrete solutions
- Knowledge of an ERP system (a plus)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of production, planning, and inventory management processes
- Experience in automation and process optimization
- Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) and data analysis concepts.
